Re: Elevation?Yes. The park varies from 150 to 6200 ft. I used the location and altitude of the visitor center.

largest state park in the 48?The Adirondack state park includes 2.7 million acres of public land; the boundary encompasses 6.1 million acres of public + private.

Re: largest state park in the 48?Well, technically Anza-Borrego is the biggest contiguous state park in the Lower 48. The 2.8 million acres within "Adirondack Park" that is state owned is technically known as a "Forest Preserve" and it is in all sorts of separate chunks.
