WOW!One of the best pages i've seen popping up in a while! Not only climbing or hiking info, but also tons of climatological and geological info. (although it's relevant, it usually doesn't get posted) I dig this kinda shit...
15/10 from Nijmegen.

Re: WOW!Thanks very much I'm glad you like it. Whether I'm hiking, climbing, mountaineering or skiing I like to know a bit about the mountains I'm in, about what forces created them or their history. I reckon area pages are the best places for this kind of info, so I just write what I want to see.
Cheers

Re: WOW!I usually do so as well, but i just can't be arsed sitting in front of my computer for 30-40 hours working on one single page, which is why my climate/geology sections usually take the form of a wee climate table and one short section of geology/history.
Have deep respect for guys like you who actually go the extra mile to make such a beautiful resource.
Requested front page honors for this page yesterday. Hope you don't mind.
Cheers,
Clint.

Amazing pageMakes me really regret not visiting Iceland when I lived across the pond.
Very well done.

Re: Amazing pageThanks very much. I think that getting to Iceland may be just as easy from the US as it is from Europe, with it being an island in the middle of the Atlantic and all. I definitely recommend visiting it, it's like nowhere I've ever been before and I would love to go back.

Stunning.......as usual Dan.
How does your parter allow you so much free time to construct all these outstanding pages???
(Keep it up though.)

Re: Stunning...Cheers Martin, I'm lucky that Charlotte is so very understanding of what I enjoy doing, otherwise I think she would have gone mad by now; she's a really wonderful person. Oh and she read your message, and was very happy to have been thought of, and has then spent the rest of the evening winding me up about it... thanks ;)
All the best
