Argonaut Peak as viewed from...
Argonaut Peak as viewed from Dragontail Peak to the ENE on April 26, 2003.

You can see where the narrow Northeast Couloir comes up from the right. We took this to the couloir's apex, transitioned to the upper snowfield, then contoured on the north side of it around the snow arete coming off the middle horn. The rest was Class 3 to the summit blocks. We descended via the East Gully, visible at left.

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."   --Calvin Coolidge
