Arrow Peak from Goat Mountain | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Arrow Peak looms large over the South Fork of the Kings River in May 2010.
Split Mountain is the large, dark peak to the left of Arrow, with Cardinal Mountain in between. Striped Mountain is the small, dark, triangular peak on the horizon immediately right of Arrow, and Pinchot Peak is the highest peak visible slightly further right.

Hasn't voted | I just love it when clouds form in the mountains, but you can still see 100 miles. Thanks for the comment! | | Posted May 18, 2010 3:36 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I thought I recognized Split back there. Do you know if Windy Point is in this shot? | | Posted May 21, 2010 11:35 pm |

You made me break out the topo maps for this one... State Peak is the smooth, snowcovered slope rising farthest to the left, nearly touching the edge of the photo. Windy ridge is to the left of State Peak off the photo. Windy Peak is even further left, so not in the visible. In the panorama here, you can see Windy Ridge on the left, but not Windy Peak. | | Posted May 24, 2010 7:30 pm |
