Great job !

Great job Gangolf. I thought about posting a similar article to explain the html coding. This is a perfect startup!
Cheers Lukas

Re: Great job !

Thanks Lukas! I'll add a section, explaining the code. I wanted to do this but somehow ended up not doing it. Doh!

Re: Fantastic ..

Thanks Alex - this is exactly the reason why I posted this article: people keep asking me about the panos and now I can simply direct them here ;-)

Unparalleled !

Your work on this is superb. If anyone had doubts about whether or not you should be at the head of the class, this should dispel any such notions!

Re: Unparalleled !

Thanks a lot. I think it still needs a bit of tweaking ...

help

this might be something simple I am missing but after I add the code to my picture page how do I remove the original image ?
I made one at http://www.summitpost.org/image/241240/153204/western-view.html but
it's still showing original image on top

thanks

Re: Thanks Gangolf

No need to understand them ;-) That was part of the reason I put them up here. Just copy and paste, then change the numbers of the pictures and you're done (at least with the un-labelled sliding panos). Easy, isn't it ;-)

Cool stuff, man! But if you want to avoid the HTML, have a look at the site www.alpen-panoramen.de - there you can interactively label the summits on the pano you've uploaded - that rocks!

Great article!

Just now I realise, how lucky I was to have a camera, which has the panorama option among its menus :)

Thank you

Thank you Gangolf for this really useful post. This will help me in improving post of my future panos. I'm not a wizard in handling html code, but i'll try. Hope that you (or someone else) will help me in case i'll get in really hard troubles... Congratulations! Giorgio
