to it Fury. Definitely look me up in Canmore for a climb or two or three. I will be in full peak bagging mode if not traveling with the Summits of Canada Expedition Team.

ps My daughter just got accepted on a full fellowship (Department of Anthropology) to work on her PhD at Berkeley. I know you are working on yours. She is still waiting to her from Harvard and a few others, but the amount of money they threw her way sure pleased dad, who was prepared to pay for it anyway. I have always been utterly confused what it takes to get a PhD, but she is attempting to clear it up for me. As usual, thanks for your interest and support. I think Josh and Ryle have done a super job with the new format. Cheers.

That's great news about your daughter! It's a lot of work but if you're in the field you love then it's totally worth it. It is nice to be paid to be a student and I'm sure she will enjoy it too.

I will definitely contact you before heading out to the Rockies. I hope to tack of at least 4 days of climbing after doing the Yamnuska course. I plan on being in the Rockies for about the first two weeks of July.

I agree the new format is great.

Take care!

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
