Ashley Lakes

A good view of both Upper and Lower Ashley Lakes, with the narrow separation between them—narrow enough they are usually referred to as just "Ashley Lake," even though technically that is not correct. This is still early in the morning of our ascent. We entered this area by a bushwhacking traverse, coming in from the right, but high enough to be out of the frame. Photo by Vernon, July 2, 2006.
