Blown off the mountain

After a brisk hike up to the ridge from Hoosier Pass, we expected to reach the summit in less-than-optimal conditions and make haste for the trailhead. But the mountain had other plans... by 13000' the wind and blowing snow had limited visibility to a few feet. The wands we'd planted on the ascent were useless and we had to use GPS to retrieve them on our way down.

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
