Sometimes nothing goes as planned

An epic comedy of errors saw me at the base of the Angel couloir, sans my partners, and not very near our intended route up the east ridge. I turned around and hiked down 700', where I encountered my group, whom had gotten an even later start, hiking up. By now it was too late for a summit bid under the circumstances so we called it quits.
