Baker's summit massif from the upper Easton Glacier on June 25, 2000. Roman Wall is at upper left. Sherman Crater, with steam clouds rising, is at right. Those little dots left of the crater are people. This photo was taken where I had to run after my helmet that I had momentarily taken off. It began sliding away on the snow. After about 200 feet of chasing it, I literally had to pounce on it like a football to stop it.
