	Hasn't voted	Thanks, it was the first weekend of October and I took a little hike into the mountains hoping to see some subalpine larches changing color that would contrast with the fresh snow. It was one of those windy fall days with intermetient snowstorms on the higher peaks mixed with sunshine. I came up over a ridge, and suddenly this came into view.
