A jumble of rabbit tracks and a big bird (most likely red-tail hawk, as we have had a few in that area recently) feather prints, relating a story of a battle of survival. Unfortunately, the ending was unclear. I ran accross two locations in that area that day with the same type of story. :0)
I have seen quite a few interesting tracks this winter. I also saw some tracks where a carcas was drug for a ways. Most likely the lion that I had tracked had some success with a deer or something about that size. I didn't follow it further to ifnd the outcome. :0)
