Bear Lake and Peak 8,587

Looking down on Bear Lake from the ridge above the south end. It is easier to get on the ridge from Bear Lake than from Culver Lake if one wants to climb Peak 8,676. The mountain across Eagle Creek is unnamed Peak 8,587. There is good camping at this lake and in the canyon bottom near the foot of Peak 8,587. August 2008
