Mt. ColdenLike in the other photo, this mountain with the slides is Mt. Colden. If my memory serves me right, the small peak to its right is Avalanche Mt. and the slopes on the extreme right the lower reaches of Algonquin Peak. Mt. Marcy is off of the picture to the left.
Beautiful picture! Avalanche Lake is in the notch between Avalanche and Colden and is one of the most beautiful places in the East.
