Beaver Lodge on McGee Creek

I was slightly surprised to find a lake as I hiked along McGee Creek towards Mount Crocker below Big McGee Lake… none was shown on the maps I had.

A slightly closer look revealed a beaver lodge (see inset), whose inhabitants were no doubt responsible for the recent landscape modifications.
