Big Horn (at left) and Little...
Big Horn (at left) and Little Horn from the SSE on July 9, 1994. My dad and I were trying to get to Curtis Gilbert but we started up to the ridge crest too early. I found myself topping out on the high, rounded crest halfway between Goat Citadel and Big Horn. It was a tough scramble to get up there. But it was even tougher for my non-climber dad. He wound up going up the gully left of me (the one leading up that snowfinger at center). If you look close, you can see a shark lurking in them thar rocks. It's one of them very rare goat sharks. I don't know how that shark missed my dad.

...is easily a 4 star one. I had to look a bit and then, bang, I saw the shark. Neat shot.
