Hasn't voted | Nope, Big Leaf Maples - too low in elevation for black oaks. They and sycamores grew in this canyon. After the Sheep Fire, unfortunately, just the sycamores survive (drove the canyon about a month ago) | | Posted Dec 16, 2012 7:14 pm |

Hasn't voted | I couldn't see resolution well on my computer. Black oaks DO grow on San Sevaine Flat, though. I've seen them in fall foliage. I don't know if the fire up there a few years ago took them out... it would be a tragedy. | | Posted Dec 16, 2012 8:16 pm |
