These are Black Oaks I believe. This is one of the few places in SoCal where you can find them.

	Hasn't voted	Nope, Big Leaf Maples - too low in elevation for black oaks. They and sycamores grew in this canyon. After the Sheep Fire, unfortunately, just the sycamores survive (drove the canyon about a month ago)

I couldn't see resolution well on my computer. Black oaks DO grow on San Sevaine Flat, though. I've seen them in fall foliage. I don't know if the fire up there a few years ago took them out... it would be a tragedy.
