black & brownThank you for your comments. Our excursion boat captain saw the bears and headed for the shore, asked the 30 people on board for quiet and no flash photos. He cut the motors and we got good images pretty close to the shoreline. We were with the Adventure Bound outfit out of Juneau. They were great. slowbutsteady

The only thing missing is a Polar bear, but
heard they're pretty elusive these days.
If you HAD a Polar bear, the caption might read like a Michael Jackson tune ...
