Charles leads across the notorious Black Band traverse. Although it looks easy, this band is terrifying loose.

Hasn't voted | It took us 2 pitches to get across the Black Band. I led the first pitch and it ended at a pin / fixed nut belay. Charles led the next pitch which had one fixed pin halfway across. All the other gear we got in was totally jingus; of course if we had brought some pins things might have been different.
