Black Canyon of the Gunnison

The view from below Tomichi Point of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Because of its location close to the south rim park entrance, this is the first view most visitors to the park see of the canyon. It is easily the least dramatic of all of the vistas. Imaged in August 2006.
