Re: You must love...That was back in the day when days scheduled for vacation ruled. We started early enough but the heat of the day caught up with us due to the full exposure to the sun on this route. It really helped being young. Today I wouldn't think of even carrying a 60 lb pack in good weather.

Re: What a route!Thanks for the invite but it wouldn't be the same for me without the rattlesnakes. If we don't get any snow, then I'd be up for Indian Peaks the following weekend.

Re: What a route!Mmmmm...snow or rattlers? Thats a tough one. I'm partial to fair weather hiking as well, and I love snakes! But it's supposed to be a good weekend out there, out of this yucky Wasatch Front gunk. I guess I'll have to wait for my day in the sun with the infamous Dean.
