I found a heart-shaped rock just outside the Vortex.
The rock raised my "Instant Karma" level by at least 10 points !

Boynton Canyon Trail
Hot day (high of 96). I was the first person at the trailhead. Started my hike at 6:15 a.m. Did not see anyone on the way up but on the way back, kept running into people. By the time I was back at the trailhead, the parking area was full.
