Bristly Manzanita (Arctostaphylos columbiana)

Bristly manzanita is a shrub of low elevations near the coast and low elevaitons from British Columbia to northwest California. It forms an erect to spreading shrub that can reach 4 meters in height, but is generally lower. Photo from near Packwood Washington. April 2000.
