Bronco, the Mt. Index page...

Bronco, the former Mt. Index page maintainer, said April through October is the best time to climb this peak. Well, don't end up like Jim and me by trying this in October when frost melt made the rock unclimbable in the Hourglass Gully constriction (seen above). My gesture is in response to this being my 5th failure to attain the summit and 7th time on the mountain. Oct. 16, 1999.
