| Pat and I headed out from the Summit Sno-Park on snowshoes in windy, snowy weather at 0745. We went up the north side and reached the summit at 1045, where we stripped down to T-shirts and had lunch in the sunshine above the storm. We were back to the car at 1:00. | |

| scrambled up the lava rock from the east. slow going... a pain in the a@# really. obviously this would be much better once it's completely covered in snow, but I still wanted to knock it out since I was there. | ||

| SP'er Bob Bolton and I went up from the east side on a route that was totally cross country. This area has real potential for ankle or leg injuries so I wouldn't want to solo the terrain. This was a good time of year to do this one as there were no bugs or heat to deal with. | |
