Bull Valley Gorge

Bull Valley Gorge

Bull Valley Gorge is one of the most interesting features found along the Skutumpah Road. When traveling from the south (heading north), it is totally unexpected and the roadway narrows down to a "bridge" that causes you to gaze in wonder at the deep gash on both sides of it (and makes you precise in your steering as there is no margin for error). We later found out from a guy when we were on Powell Point (see picture titled "Contemplation" that the "bridge" was built on top of a pickup truck (part of the bridge in a way) that fell into the gorge, taking the lives of three people back in 1954. The man who told this story married the daughter of one of those three unfortunate men. See SP member Tanya's pic HERE.

And that's no bull ...

What ever became of SP-member Tanya ???

One of those enigmatic mysteries that might
be (suddenly) solved in the future ?

Re: And that's no bull ...

She has obviously established herself as a truly remarkable photographer. The rest of her pictures in the album are outstanding.

Re: And that's no bull ...

Are you "implying" she's TOO GOOD for SP ???

She does have some cool pictures! Maybe she's
self-employed now.

...and doesn't want to deal with 'pip-squeaks'
like me.
