HOWWW?!hey, awesome trip report! How did you take this picture? I'm thinking you set your shutter speed really slow but how did you not get your body in the picture?

The photo was about a 1.5-2 min exposure. When you take long exposures at night, it takes longer for darker objects to be captured on film, so if you don't stand still for too long, you can run around in a scene and not show up in the picture. However, if someone shines a light on you then you'll immediately show up.
