Camp Muir view: Mt. Adams...
Camp Muir view: Mt. Adams floats above the sea of clouds that was often below us while at Camp Muir. Mt. Hood is just barely visible at the right edge. This pic was taken just about dinnertime on the first evening we were at this 10,000 foot high camp. Aug 69 Slide scanned to digital

Yes indeed, nalgene bottles as we know them did not exist back in those days. I'm sure reindeer love Mt. Rainier and play there when no one is around. No moose however, sigh.
