It was a morning ritual - out of the tent and straight into the river. What a way to wake up !

I'm not much into the early morning dips myself RayMondo but it will certainly wake you up.
My favourite dips were 1). mid-day at Loch an Athain below the Cuillin Ridge on the walk between Sligachan and Loch Scavaig. 2). In the Conway river off the road from Betwys to Dolwyddelan.
