Can it get much bleaker than this?
El Fraile seen from the long and extremely dry valley in between Incahuasi and El Fraile. Bring as much water as you can carry here, as there are no snow to melt, let alone no water for almost a full day's walk. Also rembember you're on high altitude all the way here and seldom drops down under 5000m.

Sometimes the scenery in that area was more than a bit unearthly.
