Re: Great trip

Really! I knew it! I had some lengthy discussions since my trip, about the route on Wilcox, with several SP members from Alberta. I felt very strongly that I must not be the only one who has had such difficulty.

I think that most descriptions of Wilcox under-rate the difficulty. Thankfully SP member Hulio seems like a good guy and says that he is going to make adjustments to the route page to indicate what I encountered there.

Re: Sunny Skies

No kidding! I really did feel bad for all those people who had bad weather earlier in the summer.

Re: Great job!

Yes, we were very lucky. I've got my fingers crossed for the same conditions when I return in 2013.

Strewth !

A whole load of darn fine pictures, and showing us this massive territory. Such variety. 4,000 ft per day, average. Pretty good !

Re: Strewth !

Hey thanks! You taught me something. according to the Urban Dictionary, "strewth" is comparable to "bloody hell" or "Geeze" or "holy cow". I guess you learn something every day, right?

Re: Strewth !

Stewth is a great word, and I just realised it sounds like what it means. So (learning something every day), I thought to look up what that means - onomatopoeic.

Aside from that. Your mega trip is inpiring me to get out again.

Super TR

Wow, what can I say ... just an amazing super trip and a great TR.
I have been on most of them, but there is some good info for those peaks I have not scrambled yet. Thanks for all your hard work to put it up here.

Re: Super TR

You are most welcome. I hope that my notes do come in handy when you get around to those other peaks. You are so lucky to live where you do.

Re: A seriously gruelling trip

Thanks! I had help with my choices because I asked several people before hand what they would recommend. My hope was to return to the Canadian Rockies this year for another peakbagging extravaganza, but I have had to postpone until 2014. Hey, I see you're new to this site. I'd like to be the first to say welcome!
