Route Description
Ibon de Saman Col of La Moleta View from col
We begin in col de Ladrones descending a little the forest track in left side turning to right entering to the valley of Izas. We leave the track after a few of meters following the signal of GR-11 (red and white). The path goes to the wide valley of Izas up to a cross path with signal to Ibon de Iserias. We turn to right following the paint yellow and white to reach the small hut of Vuelta de Iserias (1900m) over nice terraces. The path is very easy but exposed if it's wet (or it contains snow) to reach now the upper valley where's the Ibon de saman or Iserias (2194m).
We turn to right bordering the lake. We follow th cairns of stones in the other side of the lake to enter to the wide channel between La Moleta and Picos de Iserias. We walk the long zig zag to reach the evident col at exit of the channel. In the col of La Moleta (2443m) we turn to left to walk in diretion to right side of the wall of the peak. It's not necessay to climb directly the summit because it's easier the entry in right side across rocky terraces. The summit is in left side.
