Cape Lookout State Park

These photos were taken on a foggy and rainy day at Cape Lookout State Park near Tillamook, Oregon. The park is a narrow peninsula that juts north. The majority of these photos are of the old-growth forest along the Cape Lookout Trail, which follows the headland above the ocean for several miles.

Thanks. It's a really pretty spot, and very different from the places I normally hike.

"The bizarre trend in mountaineers is not the risk they take, but the large degree to which they value life. They are not crazy because they don't dare, they're crazy because they do. These people tend to enjoy life to the fullest, laugh the hardest, travel the most, and work the least."   --Lisa Morgan
