These mini marbles are murder to walk on. This section was loaded and yet like nothing else I have ever seen before. This was not far below the summit area. 8-25-09

Rocks!

This peak had so many different shapes of rocks - ones I had never seen before. I had so much fun exploring this area.

The Wonders of Capitol Reef

never ceases to amaze me. Water obviously played a major role here, though I've never seen anything like this before anywhere in the Reef. Incredible.

This was in the section above the "crux" I keep mentioning and not far from the gully that heads up to near the summit.
