Great start. I drove up it once on a family vacation in my foolish days of youth, before I truly appreciated a good mountain, but have driven by it several times. Thanks for putting it on SummitPost!
I've got to check my father-in-law's photographs to see if this is one of the volcanoes he visited just before he became ill from cancer. I know he drove to very near the summit of one and took photos of the caldera.

Untitled CommentThis was a cool place to visit. The volcanism in NE New Mexico was unknown to me before arriving there last July.
