Re: Love the name,...Thanks, I was looking in my old touring book (Wasatch Tours Volume 2) and found this out about the history behind the name.
"The name Cardiac Ridge was 1st coined by Charles Chauncey Hall, a prominent SLC orthopedic corporation (now retired from practice) and active ski tourer, who observed that a person could have a heart attack just looking at this dangerous area."
