Hasn't voted | I have no information on what the difficulty would be for a direct ascent of the summit cliff. From the other sides it should be just a steep bushwhack/scramble. (If I'm not mistaken, Castle Rock is the cliff in the shadow on the right hand side near the narroweat point of the canyon in this picture.) Hasn't voted | I've done it a couple of times. Both ascents were via a good bushwack up the south side with a little scrambling and a short, easy but exposed walk east along the ridge to the summit. | | Posted Jun 5, 2006 8:33 pm |
