| Was spending two weeks in Spain, wanted to get at least one good hike in. Got in touch with Guides from Spanish Highs, they met me at my hotel and drove us to the parque. It was a nice climb, but very sandy with loose gravel. Summited after about 2 hours, amazing views from the top. Could see Mulhacen all the way across to Granada. Took the long way down, there is a botanical garden on the north side and a fountain with fresh water. Overall a fun hike, would highly recommend it. | |

| Climbed the mountain along its long west ridge, hopping from sand dune to sand dune. Horrible underground near the summit. Unfortunately no views of the Sierra Nevada and a horrible descent as well. | |
