Summit on southernmost 20,000ft in the world
I now know why people say "every time I climb Marmolejo, (at some point in the route) I say I'll never go back" :) Mentally and physically demanding, but oh so incredibly rewarding. The glacier crossing is exhausting, necessary to leave before dawn in order to cross while it's hard. On our way down, after 15 hours, it was soft and sloppy which was mentally excruciating. Hardened up real quick once the sun went down, which helped us get back into our tent happier than I've ever been. 3am - 8:30pm summit day.
