Chair Peak from its lower NE...
Chair Peak from its lower NE Ridge. The NE Face is at left; the NE Buttress is at center, the North Face is at right. Note the spindrift blowing. As we neared the peak, the winds began whipping up something fierce. This changed the character of the climb somewhat (and would soon make us wish we had walkie-talkies). Feb. 22, 2004.
