Never enough could be said of the Alpine Lakes
Wilderness. What an amazing place!

Springtime is the best time to avoid the crowds, right? Nice capture of the lake!!!

I think fall is the best time. In Spring, most of these lakes are still frozen over to some extent. Anyways, this approach by Mineral Creek Park is never too crowded because the trail is too rough. Once you hook up with the PCT, that's another matter.
