	Hasn't voted	The first pitch is a little grainy, and the last pitch is a little loose, but other than that everything is solid... great crack-climbing and laybacking everywhere

excellent .. first photos of a route on the face that i have seen. steep terrain if i recall ... i did the buttress that rises out of the gully at the right side of your photo in '79 with first wife. staight to the top, maybe 5.8 or so. same texture as you describe. here's a link to the trip photo album: http://petercolephoto.com/gallery/results/list_records.php?CAT=2&AID=24&LOC=47&YR=1979

	Hasn't voted	Hey cool! Is this the line you are describing? http://www.summitpost.org/route/422311/south-east-arete.html If so we also did it last summer... it was 2 scrambling pitches then 3 pitches of about 5.7. Let me know and I'll update the page.
