Weird ConditionsBrian, what did you think of the conditions on the Hogsback? Two bergshrunds in February! Also, I've never seen the Hogsback corniced like it was on the western side of the lower section. How about you?

Re: Weird ConditionsThe conditions that day were stellar I thought. The times I had been up there before the hogsback was always so trampled down like a wide sidewalk. I thought the sharpness of the ridge was great. Too bad the picture I took of the bergschrund to the west didn't turn out. It was only like a foot wide. Out to the east from the hogsback you could see down to the bottom though. Coming down from the schrund to Crater Rock was really windy too.
I was going to try Leuthold or Devils Kitchen Headwall this past weekend but got "detained" at Smith Rock. Good thing though, weather got crappy up there. Let's hope for another sunny week soon!
