Close-up of The Three...

Close-up of The Three Penguins. Two of the three routes on the formation are clearly seen: The Right Chimney route (5.10c) follows the incredible hand crack in the dihedral on the right; The Center Chimney route (5.9) follows the wide crack/chimney in center of the face. I can't believe how much this thing actually looks like 3 penguins - right one is obvious, center one is hiding its beak behind the right one's head, and the left one is just aloof and showing his back only (March 27, 2005).

Re: Great work

Steve,

Many thanks for the kind remarks!

Enjoyed your TR's and photos as well (Alabama Hills comes to mind as one of the more recent photo additions I've had the chance to check out).

Regards,

radek

Like "old friends"

I remember seeing this during my MANY visits to Arches National Park, Moab, Utah. It brings back memories :)
