Please note that the peak is incorrectly placed on USGS quadrangles. The true summit is 13,240'+, 0.6 mi. SE of Mt. Wallace at UTM535115. See R.J. Secor's The High Sierra - Peaks Passes and Trails (2nd ed. - p.283; 3rd ed. - p.291) for details.
I was just going to post the same thing when I noted schmed had already done so. The USGS is simply wrong in this case.
