Thanks Nader! A ferrata is a trail which is equipped with steel cables, clamps, ladders, etc. There are quite a lot of these in the Dolomites (but also all over the Alps) - they give you the climbing feeling while (generally) keeping you safe and secure all the way. Still many ferrate are very exposed and tough to do even with all the protection in place. The Finanzieri Ferrata is among the more difficult ones. I think Wokka's pictures on the route page give a good inclination of what a ferrata can be like.

Thanks a lot! I already gave you a reply on one of the pictures - it's the polarizer that really gets the colours going. I only hope that my new camera will give similar results. If you believe the tests there can't be a better camera but I'm not sure...
