Hasn't voted | One of the most amazing mountain tops. I wish it could be visible every time I climb it. | | Posted Aug 6, 2009 1:17 pm |

Hasn't voted | I believe it is more than 150 meters deep. I know the first climbers who climbed down the crater were members of a Czech - Polish expedition in 1973. Since then many ecuadorians teams have visited the crater. | | Posted Aug 14, 2009 5:09 pm |

Voted 10/10 | You were lucky! I didn't see anything due to the fog! Wonderful view of the crater: for me it was the reason for climbing Cotopaxi! | | Posted Mar 1, 2011 4:43 am |

Hasn't voted | Yes Edoardo, for many climbers this is the highlight of Cotopaxi's climb and a worth it experience.
I haven't seen it several times... and I've been lucky to see it many times too. I wish the crater could be visible to all climbers who reach the summit, cause it's something out of this world! | | Posted Mar 1, 2011 5:47 pm |
