OverviewCoxcomb Peak is a mountain summit in Ouray County, Colorado. It is one of the most famous non-Fourteeners in the San Juans, and is generally considered to be one of the most difficult Bicentennials (Colorado's 200 highest summits) to climb by its easiest route.
Below are some images from our climb via North Face, a more difficult route to this beautiful summit. I will post more climbing photos later on (route description).
And also some photos from my previous visits to Cimarron Group of peaks. There are many beautiful peaks in this area, and usually very uncrowded.
