Huh?Was it hurt? Just curious? Big zoom? I have seen hundreds of coyotes, but never one sitting down...that is too great. Nice shot.

Re: Huh?He was just kinda chekin things out... probably wanted some food or somethin' He would walk over sit down then get up and walk around a bit then come back and sit down some more... He was a pretty wild guy.

I've been livingamongst coyote guys for 17 years, and this is
also the first one I've ever seen sitting down.
What were the circumstances behind the scenes? Did you have another pooch with you? Sometimes, coyotes are mesmerized by other critters, such as domesticated dogs & cats.
Other times, they just like to scare folks!

Re: I've been livingWell some would say I have a soul connection w/ these guys. I just kinda locked eyes w/ this guy while I was busy chagning my pants and then the rest is highway history. No other animals just me and wild animal. He kinda just followed me around for a while then I got in my car and he tried to follow that for abit. Perhaps in a past life we were related. I felt a little sadness set in as I left but it had to be done. I could take him home as pet at least not this time around.
