Crappy Middle Third

The worst part of the climb. This is steep sand with moving boulders nestled in it. Nothing is secure, it all moves. We tried to follow the pounded down elk steps but this is the worst two-steps-up/one-slide-down screefield I've ever encountered, even including Cascade volcanoes.
